Karachi, 14/11/09 : PFA and EC Gateway signs MoU to promote food industry through
Food, Agri & Livestock Asia for next 5 years

Pakistan Food Association (PFA) and Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding today to collaborate with each other for organizing Food Agriculture and Livestock Asia – Exhibition and Conference for the next 5 years at Karachi Expo Centre, Pakistan.

The 4th Food, Agri & Livestock Asia Int'l Exhibition & Conference is scheduled from 24-26 April 2010 at Karachi Expo Centre. The Event is region’s most important and established event providing a unique business platform for all the relevant stakeholders to network and establish business contacts with decision makers and influencers.

It is a major decision that from this time onwards, Food Agriculture and Livestock Asia would be a thematic exhibition, open for both trade & families in different hours.

Mr. Rafiq Rangoonwala, President, Pakistan Food Association at the occassion said that PFA with EC Gateway to put all its efforts in making Food, Agri & Livestock Asia a strategic platform for participants to share knowledge, develop synergies to optimize business opportunities, seek collective business possibilities, rationalize legal and regulatory regimen.

 "PFA will offer a special subsidy to its members for this event and all PFA members would invite their local as well as international customers, partners and collaborators in this event", Mr. Rangoonwala added.

Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President Ecommerce Gateway said that the Event complements the objective of PFA, i.e. to optimize food and food related business both locally and internationally. Participation of PFA members that are food entrepreneurs, major chains, manufacturers, producers, importers, exporters, distributors and other food professionals would definitely promote food industry as a whole and will lead to enhance the competitiveness and business growth.
